Re: Do not drink and drive... (Shimano Metanium)
you are going to love it! and by the way, I hope your beer was a Belgian import; maybe a 9% westmalle triple. That would make the behavior quite reasonable :lol Yeah for Belgian ales! Duvel, Chimay, Delerium, Korsendunk, Triple Karmeleit, etc.....9-11 % by volume is good stuff! Now for German Beers...

Does it have enough backbone to drive a 1/0 texas rig? Looking to pair the rod with a SS 700 Daiwa. 6 or 8lb line. Also, is the handle really narr...

This is what I am interested in as well.SLM wrote:Ok--it's been established that E6X is lighter than GL2. Regarding sensitivity, where on the spectrum of Loomis' various graphite grades introduced over the years does E6X fall between: IM6, GL2, GL3, Mossyback, GL4, IMX, GLX, NRX?

Re: Winter time Gills
Nice gills! How do you like the laguna rods? They are nice looking for budget rods. I dont like it as much as I do my St Croix Panfish , but it's growing on me . Feels more a light than an UL IMO . With the Mr. crappie weighted float and Ande Tournament Green 4# line , I was getting some long cast ...

Re: Symetre 500fl have x ship???
I agree as well...this is a great little reel. The line management is superb, it casts well, and has a great drag. You just described my Daiwa SS700 to a T 8-) I have two 700 SS and a 1300. My uncle got me into these reels when I was a kid, and I still have and use them all of the time. My all time...

Broken CR723 GLX
Dan,
Does Loomis still have these to replace failed rods? It broke on me when I set the hook on a 4 pounder! I like this length for the ponds I fish.
Thanks

That looks like a diverse and amazing fishery!
