Best Dobyns for Senkos DX742 or DX743
Talking about casting rods, which would be the best Dobyns for 5" weightless senkos around light cover? I dont have a dealer near me and have to order. Im really torn between these two, DX742 and DX743. Mostly using 10-12# line and wacky rigging I already have a DX744 and also a Loomis BCR853 GLX so...

Re: Which Dobyns for Senkos
Well now I'm starting to consider the 742. Didn't want it at first because I thought it might be too long but it would be a good fit being just a tad lighter power than the Loomis 853 I already have.
So do you guys prefer the full handle or the split?

Which Dobyns for Senkos
Looking at a new Dobyns Extreme casting for senkos. Been using a MBR783 IMX but want something longer with a better tip for 5" wacky senkos in a mix of fairly open water to light cover. Thinking either the 702C or 703C. Dont want anything longer than 7'. I also have a BCR853 GLX, how will the Dobyns...

Storing rods on garage ceiling need opinons please!
Thinking about mounting a rod rack on my garage ceiling above my boat. This will keep the rods out of the way but very accessible to put rods in and out of the boat. My question is this, is it ok to store rods this way? Concerned about them being supported that way especially in heat (probably will ...

Need help with Dobyns swimbait rods
Trying to decide between the 795MT and the 795ML. The difference in the two is the handle lenght, The MT is 17 3/4 and the ML is 20 3/4. Im leaning towards the shorter because it will be used a lot for A Rigs and big topwater. Has anyone tried both? What are your opionons? I have to order and cant s...

Opionons on Dobyns 795 SBMT
Whats your thoughts on this rod? Thinking of getting one. Mostly throwing smaller stuff like Hudd 68s, BBZ 6" S Wave and maybe even the A Rig. How will it work for this stuff. I already have an Extra Heavy Okuma so looking for something a step lighter than that. Thanks

Re: PP Super Slick
Got some 10# aqua green color and do not like it! It is very visible. My buddy had regular PP and it was much less noticible in the water. Didnt really lay on the spool very well either. I took it off and went back to regular PP
