I was at bass city a few days ago. I did notice they had a few major craft rods on a rod rack but the way they have they had their rods on racks on the floor I couldn't get at any of them to check them out. You have to remember a small tackle shop like bass city doesn't have a large selection of rod...

Another TD-Z JDM variant fan here. I've tried many Shimano and Daiwa reels over the years and none come close to the way it fits in my hands and the tight tolerances in design. Plus all the tuning components still available for it. A close second would be the Zillion J Dream and original HLC.

One of my local tackle shops had a few of these in stock a year or two ago. I was ready to buy one to try it out but my friend suggested that their were many more rods in that price range with better componenets (guides/reel seat) and construction etc.
