Re: Lew's Speed Stick IM7 two piece rods

Vince...What do you think the MX-72ML Casting will excel at the best?
Just curious to hear your thoughts on this particular rod....Awesome looking rod to say the least

I still have a brand new Sol and Fuego Left handed new in the box that i bought a couple years ago...Got both for 225 (for the pair) from a guy online.

Forgot to mention, there are already 3 new models that we have added that are not on the website yet! A Casting 74ML, 74MH, and a spinning 74MH! These 3 were requested for our Florida dealers and Gulf Coast Red Fish Dealers! Vince...Which online dealer has the 7'4 casting in stock?...I would like t...

Re: Jackson Coosa or Wilderness Systems Tarpon 120?
Drew Gregory's response on Riverbassin about this Minivan Fools remarks about Jackson. Glad we have a smart group here on River Bassin. You figure it out...You're a dealer that sells fishing kayaks, but do not carry the current #1 selling brand. What brands would you promote when going onto a forum?...

Re: Jackson Coosa or Wilderness Systems Tarpon 120?
I own 2 Coosas and have had no issues whatsoever with these Kayaks and they are super easy to stand in and I also have not found many complaints that the poster at ACK mentioned. It is best on a river but I dont believe their have been many issues with Jackson Kayaks and they stand behind their boat...

Re: Let's talk guides, cause I'm confused as s**t
One picture of a guide grooved proves nothing....We don't know what that guide is made of
If there are recoils that don't groove that are out there....we shall see
I don't own ST Croix either for the record...I do own one rod custom built with recoils and no issues

Re: Let's talk guides, cause I'm confused as s**t
So Matt...The guides you posted pics of were Titanium?
And St Croix has opted to go with an inferior guide on their Legend Extreme rods that have somehow never had a warranty claim?
If grooving happened in 6 months and people paid 300 for the rod then it would get returned.....just sayin

Re: Let's talk guides, cause I'm confused as s**t
Found this on another board about REC Titanium Guides and St Croix: Guys I sent an email out to St. Croix following the discussion we had last week regarding the REC "Recoil" guides being used on some of the high end rods like the Legend Extreme. One of the things I like about St. Croix is that they...

Re: Let's talk guides, cause I'm confused as s**t
Stainless recoils groove....Not Titanium...The guides alone on the Envy are over 100$
They are not using stainless and they are using recoils so Wireds info is not accurate as I spoke with Matt at 13 today to clear this up.

Re: Phenix Recon snapped like a twig
Rod Breakage happens to all manufacturers...From everything I have read and heard about Phenix they stand behind their rods and kudos to Vince for coming on here to discuss how Phenix is looking at a potential issue regarding their rods. I dont own a Recon but I am looking at a couple that I intend ...
