Re: asian portal fishing

I've placed two orders for reels in the past. Received both promptly. No complaints.

Lubing Hedgehog ZR bearings

I got a set of Hedgehog ZR spool bearings. One side of the bearing does not have a shield but it does have a bearing retainer. Do I simply drip oil on that side to lube it? https://external-content.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fshop.r10s.jp%2Fhedgehog-studio%2Fcabinet%2Fab-1150zr-1030zr.jpg&f=1...

Re: Daiwa Lexa HD 300 vs 400

The Lexa 300 is a bit bigger than Daiwa's freshwater baitcasters. It's palmable but noticibly larger than a Tatula. A 300 is perfect for larger swimbaits and light saltwater fishing. A 400 would be too big for your purposes.

Re: 2019 Daiwa Admira Baitcaster

I can't imagine those knobs being thumb friendly. I like to rest my thumbs on a flat knob when reeling a baitcaster.

I would like to see the TWS on a smaller, Alphas sized frame.

Randingo wrote:I'm not going to help much either in terms of specific recommendations, but I'm curious why you're looking at such small reels for pike. I'd definitely recommend reels in the 4000 class.
I was thinking the same thing. Will a 2500 hold enough line and have enough drag for pike?

Is the body the same size and shape as the Zillion SV TW?

Anyone know if the fat PowerGrip II knobs will work on the Scorpion/Curado 70?

Thanks. Do you remember if it was 2 bearings per knob or just 1?

No as in you don't know or no the knobs won't accept a bearing upgrade?

Daiwa Luna 253 knob bearing upgrade

Does anyone know if bearings can be added to the knobs on a Luna 253 and if so, what size?

Re: Steez palm ability?

I have the previous generation Steez (the one with red accents) and it is the most comfortable palming reel I've owned. I have average sized hands. I have/had the Sol, Core 50MG, and Curados but the Steez beats them all as far as palming goes.
