P-line CXX vs Yo-Zuri Hybrid.
Considering some Yo-Zuri Hybrid for an all purpose outfit. Used CXX for the last few seasons and really, really like it. Looking to try something different for the fun of it though. Since Hybrid is fluoro coated and sinks (It's more dense than CXX which floats), I was thinking that it could be more ...

Saltwater energy spool interchangeable w/ freshwater spool?
Last year I bought a saltwater quantum energy (2009/10 model). Only difference between the saltwater, and freshwater version is corrosion resistant coating, and a deeper spool. I'm thinking about buying, or trading for the shallower freshwater spool. I really don't need the extra line capacity for w...

Favorite 120-150 dollar reel?
The market seems to betting more and more Flooded everyday with reels in this price range. Citica G, G3 Revo S, Daiwa Lexa (100), and Lews MG are the ones I'm most interested in. Anyone use these?

Re: Fluoro HELP SPINNING Reel
Have you tried AbrazX? I've heard it just a manageable as InvizX but less stretch and more abrasion resistance. Never used, but that's certainly where I would look.

Re: Sunline Super vs Sniper?
Haven't used any of the line I'm asking about. But I really liked Sufix fluoro till I backlashed. That stuff fishes very well, but it just backlashes horribly. A would be snarl turns into a line-cutting pain-in-the-ass. Perhaps it was just that I was getting used to Quantum's ACS breaks (which I fin...

Sunline Super vs Sniper?
vs AbrazX.
Rate the three lines (particularly Sniper and Super) in terms of manageability, sensitivity, abrasion resistance, and stretch.
Looking for a Fluoro for a general bottom contact rod.
Thanks.

Fluorocarbon, braid, or other?
Going to be getting a new combo come labor day, and am trying to decide what kind of line to get for it. It will mostly likely be a Dobyans Champ 734, and Gen3 Revo STX. I'm sure what I'll use this rod for, but anything I get away with using it for. Larger senkos, jigs for sure, heavy texas rigs, bi...

I just couldn't see a cumara with a Cork handle. They were one of the first rods that I can remember the put a EVA handle on a quality rod!

Anyone have experiences with both the iRod Air and Dobyns Champ? How do they compare?
For another option, how's the Shimano Cumara 74H compare the them? 165 at TW right now!

Pflueger Supreme MGX corrosion?
I always see this reel very highly considered as the best reel in it's price range. But the fact that it MG turns me astray little. Reason being is I do allot of wadding for river smallies, and my reels inevitable get wet here and there. So I'm wondering if the fact that it's MG will it corrode more...
