Re: Forum Restrictions

Have you guys thought about setting up a Patreon/other donation site to help offset server costs? That's an interesting strategy, thanks for the thought. =D> Right now, it's more a matter of getting together and deciding how best to increase capacity before worrying about costs. I personally don't ...

Re: Megabass Flipping ??

What range of lure weights are you looking to flip? I take it your not looking for a punching rod. How heavy is the cover you are flipping to?

Re: Long distance spool for sv103

With all this spool chat going on, has anyone found a strong, compact container that will tight fit a spool plus a little padding? The clear/white plastic twist-in-half containers that some spools ship in are OK, but I would love something that is a bit tougher and closes more securely. I though ab...

Re: NRX warranty

Just use the Xpeditor Service,a no-fault, no questions-asked, service program. If you break it, its most likely not going to be a manufactures defect anyway.

strike king swinging swim jig

What trailer would work best with these. They don't have a bait keeper. Seems like plastic baits would slide down the hook.
Put a reaction innovations little dipper on one and didn't seem like a good fit.

Happy Earth Day

Happy Earth Day. Go hug a tree today. Life is good, I'm on vacation this week, going fishing and camping this week, I have a new tent, the weather is going to finally warm up this week, and today is my birthday.

Re: Long distance spool for sv103

Bought these from a yahoo japan action. Haven't been able to find them again. They are the twist on containers but they have foam inserts for both ends.

Re: Frog rod

The 734 will work if needed, just prefer my champion 735C for frogs. I use my champion 734C for paddletails and works well for that and fish it in a lake that has a lot of millfoil after it warms up. Wouldn't want to pull a big fish with a big wad of weeds out of the water with it, but can pull the...

Re: Frog rod

Since you already have a Dobyns Sierra 734C and on a budget, why not get a 735C as a frog rod?

Re: Ramblings about rod power and preferences

It depends on the lake your fishing and how thick the vegetation is. I do like to fish heavier rods when going to a local lake that is thick with milfoil. Don't know that i would want to try and cast a 3/16 jig on a heavy rod, wouldn't load the rod when trying to cast. If I'm going to a lake that is...
