My favorite paddletail is the Reaction Innovations Skinny Dipper. My favorite swim jig is 4 x 4 Brandon McMillan Signature Series Swim Jig. The reels are awesome. But between the monsters on the reels and the bright colors your going to scare the fish.

You should be able to skip fairly easily with a loose ccc and max on the mag dial. I found that increasing spool tension reduced skipping distance and didn't make it any more easy to skip. That is a very nice looking reel. I have a Finesse Custom and I like it a lot, the stock spool is a little wild but it will throw light lures as well or better than my stock PX68. I keep thinking about dressing mine up, but I am growing to like the ugly little thing the way it is. Stock, the alphas...
