Old Humminbird 565 base mount broke
Hey guys, I have an old hummingbird 565 fish finder that still works good on the front of my boat. I recently leaned on it and broke the quick disconnect mount base. By chance, does any one have one there not using? Many thanks for your time.

2016 Loomis GLX 894c Balance.
Have any of you guys tried or compared the newer GLX 894c rod vs. the NRX 894c for balance. Just curious about how much better it might balance after the 2016 re-do. Not that the NRX 894c is that off on balance. Thanks guys

Re: Daiwa Tatula vs. Zillion 103sv
Hey Guys, sorry if there is some confusion. I am talking casting distance and I am talking about the newer Zillion reel, sv103xs with the sv spool (With the zillion body like the OG zillion) against a Tatula with the t-wing system. Thanks for the advice guys.

Daiwa Tatula vs. Zillion 103sv
Hey Guy's, I'm thinking of trying a new Daiwa Zillion Sv103. The thing is, loved my OG zillions years back, but, they couldn't cast like the newer t-wing daiwas like the tatulas etc. So, I'm wondering if the new SV103 can with the new spool, etc. I will be using 60# fx2 braid and throwing mainly fro...

Re: USDM Daiwa zillion tws XXS 9.1 Questions
Thanks for the info TommyG, I got my reel on this past Friday, unfortunately I haven't got a chance to put it in action yet, but, sure feels nice, love the speed. Like you said it does have the 100mm handle and that is the same daiwa part number you listed is what my reel schematics says. As far as ...

USDM Daiwa zillion tws XXS 9.1 Questions
For you guys that own one, daiwa zillion tws xxs 9.1 reel, does it come with a 100mm handle vs the 90mm for the other retrieve ratios? And is there only one bearing on the worm drive or one bearing and one bushing? Thanks Guys

Daiwa alphas sv level wind bearing spacer?
To the guys that have done the level wind bearing upgrade from the bushing on the alphas sv, does it take a spacer with the bearing like the px type-r or other pixy's? Or just needs the bearing?

Fishing in the rain, reel maintenance

Can anyone tell me if the alphas sv 105sh has brass or aluminum gearing?
Re: NRX 894c
Also, how's the balance compared to the 873ccr? I will be using a Steez reel, not that I am real sensitive to tip heavy-ness, just curious. I find most of the NRX rods to be so light it doesn't matter.
