Re: Brian Schmidt Bait's Version of the RPO : The Hybrid Football Jig

The first sentence you wrote on your impressions should be corrected. You said, "Football jigs are characterized by big beefy hooks", you should have started that sentence with "most" rather than a blanket statement. I guess making jigs for more than 20 years makes me a little OC...

How long has Berkley sat on that design? Doomsday has been around for several years now.

Which soft plastic company did the designer leave Berkley to start up?

Re: Putting a Twist on Spiral Wrapped Rods and Making them Affordable – The Riverside M2

Actually, the reason it wasn't put on the RoD Wrack is because this fella who shall remain nameless (*cough-CAL*) has been shirking his duties... hopefully this will be corrected within the next couple of weeks  ... we appreciate that you appreciate the measurables and apologize for the oversi...

Re: Putting a Twist on Spiral Wrapped Rods and Making them Affordable – The Riverside M2

Is the spiral wrap the reason this wasn't put on the RoD rack? I also didn't see any weight listed, and I don't mean this in a derogatory manner, but the review read more like an advertisement than an actual review. I guess what I mean is it feels like that when you compare it to all the other rod r...

Just to let you guys know, you listed the rod in the review as a "light" power and Loomis has it as a mag medium power.

The painted Yo-Zuri 3DB square bills are no joke, I'd love to see a review on those, especially the black back chartreuse you have in the picture!!!

Re: Rapping in the Shadows with Rapala

I was hoping you would do a review of these, I was thinking it was overhyped until I got it out on the water. It has been my best producing jerkbait since last spring.

Tatula 7'2" MH Glass cranking rod

I'm looking at getting another glass rod, my current rod is E-Glass and works great but it is very heavy and I was wondering what the weight on the 7'2" MH Tatula Glass cranking rod is, thanks.

Re: Tatula TT Product Review

I understand what you're saying but I don't think this is the case and the reason is that the anglers reading TT would spot problems with the review no matter what the price point so I doubt TT would accept a version that could hurt their reputation. Consumer Reports has no credibility when it comes...

Re: From Rigs to Jigs with the G. Loomis NRX 873C CRR

I come here because the TT crew don't appear biased at all and the reviews here are the only ones I trust. I think the rod got a fair unbiased review, it was graded pretty high based on performance alone but how do you give an ultimate enthusiast award to a rod that cost $500 with the cosmetic flaws...
