Thanks for everyone's help. I got a chance to handle some of these rods at a recent tourney and I've narrowed it down to two rods- Kistler Mag2 LMH/MF and the Denali Lithium MH/MF, both in 7'. Lithium has a cork reel seat handle but it felt really nice. I'll end up pulling the trigger on one of thes...
I will measure it tonight when I get home from work. I have a Tatula LT 3000 on it and it balances pretty good. Awesome, thank you! From the green accent directly above the fore grip it measures 16". From the middle of the reel foot on the reel seat to the butt it measures 13". This rod i...
I suggest taking a look at the kistler mg's very nice sticks for the coin. (frequently on sale directly off their site at least according to a friend who bought 9) I was very surprised by their sensitivity. I just picked up a Cabelas arachnid 2500 spinning reel for 6lb fluoro use. I'm glad I found this thread. Reviewer on another site used 8lb fluoro without any issues. Do you think a line roller bearing would have any effect on the fluoro winding/spooling?

What's the point of this question? If you're CPR, then get it done as quickly and responsibly as possible. Not sure why some people are inclined to photo every 1 and 2 lb bass they catch, but that's another story. Hold it vertically by the lip, not horizontally unsupported, try not to let the bass f...
