The caps do not have to be red, just sort of match the CI4 2500F reel if possible. Something in black maybe. In fact, black would be my first choice and red would be my second. Let me know if you have some. I will shoot you my address. Thanks for your help.

Why not ask your local tackle shop to turn it in for a replacement and then sell the replacement to you?
