Re: New Poison Adrena

This is a 611M+ w/ a Steez SV TW. 9644D18A-A585-4E53-8446-1C30FC53C585.jpeg F2720620-0173-49D3-A5E7-63A808C2D0BA.jpeg The balance point with the reel is actually a little further back, I couldn’t get it to actually balance on the edge of the lock nut. It’s a really phenomenal rod, the sensitivity i...

Re: New Poison Adrena

I'm particularly interested in the 6'11M+, 7'2H, and 7'3MH. i only ask cause much like sensitivity, everybody's interpretation of balance seems to be a little different. appreciate it guys

Re: New Saint overpriced or not?

NOLRAMB - I might have missed it, but which new Xtreme was used here? I have the 74H and the Steez AGS Bottom Contact rod. I've spent a lot of time with the Bottom Contact, and a little bit with the 74H so far. I've drawn some comparisons, but was curious about the differences in our perceptions. I...

Re: New Saint overpriced or not?

Just finished fishing these two, both rods had a Dobyns 1/2 football jig with a 3.75 flappin hog 1/2 inch cut off of it. The St. Croix was the clear winner, the grip/handle itself transmitted the lake bottom so much better, with the EVA on the Steez you could tell it was hampering the feel. I like ...

Re: EVA handles ... yea or nay ?

Cork is just a really cheap replacement to pad a bottom line. I won't support it. absolutely not. it's just absolutely absurd to think that cork could ever replace high-quality eva. Lols! Have you priced out cork and EVA...umm, ever? Please quantify this for me, as I would love to see some EVA that...

What rod/reel combo has/will withstand the test of time?

What combo do you HAVE to have with you at all times? it can be something from 20 yrs ago but it can also be something you bought recently that you know will be with you for the foreseeable future. Just trying to have some fun here. Pictures are welcome as well as more than 1 combo.
