Re: Revo Mgxtreme vs Daiwa Steez
I've read the mgx reviews and by no means am I going to use it for peacock bass size caliber fishing, but rather for the regular LMB, in which I think it would hold up to par fairly well.

Revo Mgxtreme vs Daiwa Steez
Has anyone had any hands on experience with both of these reels? I'm not just talking about holding it in the stores, but actually fishing them side by side exclusively. I would like to know the performance aspects of both, the pros and cons. Thanks in advance

Which reel for Edge Rod's mag bass 705-1?
Which reel would pair up nicely with this rod? Been thinking about the Abu Revo Mgxtreme and the Daiwa Steez EX. Any other reels?

the daiwa lexa would do just fine as a crainkbait reel in that price range. Look up bronzefly's review of it

Re: Need some topwater help.
for me topwater is most productive first sign of sunrise and first sign of sundown. my retrieve varies. if the bass are a lil shy and just swipes at it, i usually slow my retrieves or pause a little long with little pops. if the bass are really active i make really hard pops or almost as if i am rip...
