That is the definition of a bushing - a solid piece of material. A bushing is a type of bearing.

Re: Finesse Spinning Reel Size Recommendation

Why use a braid mainline with FC leader for finesse? It doesn't seem like there is much benefit and a bunch of downsides with knots.

Re: Finesse Spinning Reel Size Recommendation

I'm not positive on this, but I think I read somewhere that some manufacturers make the body of the 2500 & 3000 reels the same size. The only difference is the spool size and maybe a slight difference in the weight and possible difference in the gear ratio. Is this generally true? This is true ...

Re: Finesse Spinning Reel Size Recommendation

You will get a bunch of different responses. I like a shallow spool and a high gear ratio. The Daiwa 2506 is ideal for me. I also run a shallow 2004 for #5 FC...drop shot only. Unfortunately, those spool sizes are not available domestically.

My spinning rods are very specialized. Any finesse stuff other than DS is BFS duty.

The Stormer Nano is a nice lightweight series.

There is a lot of objectification of tackle in those articles. ;)

Last time I tried that I left three messages and two emails with no response. Love the baits - customer service is abysmal.

Lunker Punkers still in production?

Noticing the auction prices getting up there. No baits at TW either. I hope Black Dog is still in business.

Re: Megabass F3st-610XXS vs F3st-610S Stinger Tip Rods

I use the XX stinger shot on Erie for big smallies. Pulled in 4-5 lbers with no issues. Beautiful stick and no problems with sensitivity. If you can find one and you want a casting rod, the X4 hedgehog is nice. If you want a true specialized tip, go the Daiwa Cielo with the titanium tip. =P~
