Re: What's REALLY next for Daiwa

Based on U.S. prices, I see no reason to buy the domestic version when they JDM version is much cheaper (Japan Tackle has it for $529.00).

With me throwing baits on the smaller side 3/4oz - 3oz I went with the Tatula 200.

ZPi Tatula SV spool

Has anyone tried this spool (NRC 002 PG) yet, if so how does it compare to stock SV spool?

Re: NEW: Daiwa Tatula 100 (based off Steez)

A side image (non-handle side) of the new Tat is on Daiwa's website. Also (take it for what it is) a video shows Randy H. saying it feels a lot like Steez). Oh and the C family of casting reels are on the website now.

Re: ICAST 2018 Rumors

Daiwa has the Korean reels up on their website plus a picture of the non-handle side of the Tatula 100. Randy H. (Per a Daiwa video) says it feels a lot like the Steez.

Re: Daiwa ICAST 2017 (2018 products)

Sure it wasn't Fieder's boat...if that's the case no big deal. He and Mercer were insane about Shimano back in January but I can see where Daiwa (currently) can take the cake. I really love both manufacturers so you can't go wrong with either. Could have been but the boat was also sporting Carhart ...

Big-Bass wrote:Where did you hear Zona is a Daiwa guy now?

Zona's FB page. His boat is sporting a D on the deck and had the Tatula Elites on the deck. In the comments he said he was with Daiwa now since he was going in a different drection than Shimano/Loomis.
