I contacted Shimano today and ask them to send me a 6'10". It is on backorder but I won't be fishing for a while anyway. The only decision was full or split grip. I said whatever they had first.

Whenever anyone asks me what would be your first baitcaster, I think about overruns. Therefore I always recommend Shimano with the 6 pin centrifugal brake. I would either get a Curado 51E or Chronarch 51E. I never have to thumb the spool when I set the brakes and cast control knob properly.
