13Fishing Trick Shop Parts Interchangeable?
Wondering if the 13Fishing Trickshop handles and knobs are interchangeable. I've got a red Pixy. I think some of the Trickshop handles would be really cool on them. One way or another, I need to upgrade the knobs and bearings. If the handle doesn't work on the Daiwa, will the knobs work on the Pixy'...

13 Fishing Concept C & E
Wondering what experiences have been with 13 Fishing reels on here - specifically the Concept C and Concept E. I picked up one of each last fall, and I have to say, I was very impressed. Very, very smooth out of the box. I'm due for some upgrades this year, so I was wondering if several of these mig...

Dang. I was hoping there was a solid answer on here. I've been trying to find out, too. I even e-mailed Loomis with no reply.

Re: Anyone Heard From The Doc?
Yeah, I do want to be careful. The Doc has been on here a long time and from everything I've seen has been a stand up sort of guy. So I do not want to be a richard. What action can I take? He's in South Carolina. I'm in Minnesota. I guess I don't know what else to do other than ask on here, since th...

Re: Anyone Heard From The Doc?
Anyone? Anyone? I saw he logged in this weekend, but he didn't open his PMs from me. He's got about $700 of my reels out there for over two years now.

Anyone Heard From The Doc?
Anyone heard from The Doc? I've been trying to get 5 reels back from him for over a year. Kept promising they were in the mail, in the mail. Now he's not answering PM's and has disappeared from the site for a month. Anyone have any help with reaching him?

Re: St. Croix SC VI Blanks
From the St Croix Website:
SCVI / FRS
Exotic, 62,000,000 modulus, high-strain graphite fiber now featuring FRS. Used only as a complement to other graphite materials, this very expensive graphite is too high in modulus to be used as the primary material.

Trolling Rod for Muskies
Looking for recommendations on a trolling rod for muskies. We're trolling 10-14" jakes for muskies. They're big. I tried a Phenix 707MH swim bait blank last year. It's actually too stout. It needs to have more give for bouncing off rocks and whatever else we hit.
Any suggestions? Mattman?

Re: Carbon fiber locking nut
Hey no worries Vince. I've done the same with my Iphone also. That auto correct is a killer at times. The reel seats are up on the website if anyone's interested. Hey Lance, I don't see the carbon fiber locking nut reelseat. I only see a Phenix reelseat. The picture doesn't show the carbon fiber. H...

Re: Carbon fiber locking nut
That is correct. Phenix has the version of Fuji that we are using on the recons available. They can be purchased WAY cheaper at Mudhole or Swampland then Matagi. They come in a kit with the hood, carbon sleeve, and all 3 wined checks. at a MSRP of about $20.00 or so. I can't find them on Mudhole or...

Fuji Graphite / Nylon Winding Checks
Has anyone used these with a regular ECSM reelseat as a no foregrip alternative? Wondering if they'll fit the front of one of these reelseats or if they're for a larger inner diameter. http://www.anglersworkshop.net/rod-building/handle-components/winding-checks/fuji-graphite-nylon-winding-checks.html

Re: Amtac Nanolite titanium guides
I used them on 3 rods. 2 rods had at least one guide frame break, and the third had a ring pop out. I was disappointed with them. They seem to be a good price point for a titanium framed guide. But until I hear that they've got the breakage issues solved, I won't be buying any more of them.
