Steez A TW HLC side plate

My side plate fell off the rest of the reel and fell to the bottom of the lake during a cast I made yesterday. A really dumb mistake on my part!

Is there an easy way to replace those parts so I have a functional reel again?

Re: Reverting to Straight shank worm hooks

How do you get the little barb on the shrink tubing? It just happens from cutting?

Re: Morning or Evening

Evening can be weird sometimes. I've had many days where I lose the bite when the sun is setting behind the mountains. Waking up in the mornings sucks though.

Re: Who regularly throws small 3/16-1/4 spinnerbaits?

My spinnerbait fish come on retrieves faster than most small spinnerbaits can swim on. I used to love throwing the 1/4 Revenge Deep Runners which have thin wire and smaller blades and that helps. I'll have to dig out my binder of them and see if the skirt bands are still intact.

Re: Pixy/Pixzilla still relevant...

The SPR review was a bit harsh! I've had mine since it came out and it's great fun throwing small baits on it.

One thing though, I've only had it paired with short (6'3"ish) and fast rods. The casts just don't go too far. I think it's a combination of the rods and the reel's braking.

I personally love the snap beans you both mentioned, I have been buying alot of them lately, especi...

Both of them are amazing. The Tatsu might fit your needs better.

Ebay always has them and some online shops carry them once in a while. The cheapest way to get them is from Japan though.

Re: Other fly stuff in UL

I've used the strike indicators but they're not weighted and are hard to cast. I've used the super tiny split shots. They're awesome. Lots of small splitshots are a lot more snag resistant than one big split shot. Seaguar Grand Max FX might be a tippet but it is an amazing leader material too. I hav...

Re: Smoothest and longer casting braid´s

Hi guys, Which is the smoothest, most long casting braid in your opinion? I used Power Pro and Sufix 832 of different diameters on different reels and of these two I have got to say that both are very strong but Sufix 832 is much more smoother. Which I supose help when casting. I need to get a 20LB...

Re: Plastic swim baits...??

I've had remarkable success with the Scrounger also. Does so many things well with many trailer types. The bill functions almost the same way as a chatterbait. The jig can be used with and without the skirt. I've done the best with skirts with the Skinny Dipper clones from Bass Pro and Zoom Swimmin...

Re: Favorite UL line

Sunline Sniper, Toray Super Finesse, Toray Super Hard and Seaguar Tatsu (if you consider 4lb UL) are all great.

Maxima and Seaguar InvisX are okay too.

I have a spool of Varivas Super Trout Advanced Twitch Master I'm going to try soon.

The Sniper is my favorite fluorocarbon right now.

Never tried it but they accept paypal so it should be pretty safe right?

I'm going to go ahead and guess it will be their new site.

That rod looks so good! The reel is a good match too.

I love the gold accents but the gold handle is WAAAAY too much for me :D
