That is not a bad day at all. Nicely done, sir. Nicely done, indeed. =D>
I found myself in love with the feel Brigand brings......Over the weekend it was so hard for me to put it down even when the condition was screaming for flipping \:D/

Re: First outing with the Brigand (Destroyer 19 new spinning)

Nice fish and review. I really like the handle on their spinning rods. It balances great and feels nice. Those okashira’s work world wide! I caught a ton of fish in Maui last week. Went to Japan the week before and had great success. I then came home and won a bass tournament on the same head and t...

Re: First outing with the Brigand (Destroyer 19 new spinning)

Thanks for the review. That's a sweet combo and nice catches! What rod were you using previously? For small swimbaits, I was throwing with the Huge Contact F3-610DGS, the Aaron Martens signature rod that has served me for over 11 years and still strong. It was a little short and action was slower (...

Re: First outing with the Brigand (Destroyer 19 new spinning)

Monster crappie!! Is the Brigand an ideal Erie tube bait rod? I have not thrown a tube with Brigand yet. But according to Megabass, Brigand is specifically for tubing and swing head and other bottom contact techniques. From my impression, the fast action, sensitivity and the powerful mid section wi...

First outing with the Brigand (Destroyer 19 new spinning)

I've been wanting a long and powerful sissy rod for a while and saw the new Destroyer 2019 spinning models, so got the Brigand before the Memorial holiday. Paired it up with 07 Stella 2500 FD, PowerPro Super8Slick V2 Onyx 15 lb and 10 lb FC leader. Rod is a F4, fast action.Ccraftsmanship is typical ...

He says the shaft is different on the FD from other previous or newer Stella models. There are no other handles that will work.
Thanks for the info anyway.

Re: 07 Stella (FD) Handle Assembly

Or does anyone know if I can use parts from other models to replace it? Just the handle and the screw attaches to it.

07 Stella (FD) Handle Assembly

Hi All, I have a 07 JDM Stella 2500 that has served flawlessly for the past 12 years. But now it was unfortunately stepped on by my buddy, right on the handle :( So the handle itself and the long screw which attaches the handle to the body were both bent. I looked at Shimano parts list online and lo...

Re: Where do you get your JDM reel from?

Got my JDM new Antares from Plat. They occasionally have discounts...ProShop Japan seemed to be closing? Correct me if I am wrong but they have significantly reduced their stocking products.

Re: Rod Importing (Auction)

I had some experience of using "buying agent" to get exotic tackle from Japan (Rakuten, Yahoo, Amazon). Will write up some details in a different post later when I have time.

Re: Bassmaster classic Winning baits

During War Room coverage Zona claimed that Pace was actually catching most of his jerkbait fish on an old school clown colored Rogue, supposedly Rogues are kind of the deal on Grand Thanks HellaBass. This answered my confusion. Just watched Classic Day 2 coverage on ESPN, Pace was clearly throwing ...

A decent PA LMB from shore courtesy of Jota paired with Calais DC. Was throwing Yum Wooly Bug on 1/4 oz T-rig. Love my Jota :D Good luck with yours
