New Carrot Stix company
I seen a video of a guy at ICAST 2013 showing the Carrot Stix rods. He said a new company is making them. It sounded like he said the company was "Cartonic" but not sure if I heard right. Is there a web site for the new company?

I have been using the Wild Green Carrot Stix CWG701M for a while without a problem.
It is a 7' 1/8-5/8oz 6-12lb rod. It casts great and is light.
I really have never broken a rodf that wasen't my fault. I did break a St. Croix once on a hook set but I nicked the rod while casting a week before.
