American Legacy has NRXs for 25% off. And GLXs. But not for long. Just saying.

You need "none" as a category up there.
I own one, one of the new DCs. I like it.

Thanks for the heads-up. I picked up a new one on eBay last night, to go on a 5' 2" Nissin ultralight.

Goodbye Gander Mountain
Gander Mountain just announced the bankruptcy liquidation of all its in-store inventory. Don't know what sorts of deals you can get online.

Re: New GLX 782C MBR
I've never fished the original. I bought it for jerk baits, which I have always fished on spinning gear before.

New GLX 782C MBR
My new GLX 782C MBR arrived from American Legacy today. That puppy is light! It feels like a wand.
Of course, it was cold and spitting snow here all day.

JPangler.com still has 50 Conquest DCs listed on its website, and at a much better price ...

Grabbed a Wal-Mart bargain
Walked into a local Wal-Mart last night and saw that fishing tackle had finally gone on clearance. I picked up a few lures at an OK price and found three Yumbrellas for $7 (regularly $10-something). Re: Rod for light (1/64th ounce) jigs
Marabou jigs tied on 1/64th-ounce jig heads. Standard fare for Missouri trout. Not much weight there to load up a rod, so you kind of have to shoot the jig so that line peels easily off the reel.
