Re: Any minijig heads similar to Daiwa GEKKABIJIN SW Light jigheads
Not justifying the price but 7.00 is for the Lead-Free option. The Lead ones a 6.00. Not sure what they use but it is not tungsten. Probably bismuth which costs more than lead. More importantly is the shape which makes it easier to get the jig to dart properly. If you need a bunch, a custom pour is ...

These are the best I have found for trout tubes.

Re: 1/64oz Rod Recommendation
Great point. When you can’t handle the rod yourself before buying, you always run that risk. The domestic rods may not measure up to the JDM models, but a local tackle shop might have stock you can handle to make up your mind. If you are willing to take a chance on feel and warranty coverage then go...

Re: 1/64oz Rod Recommendation
I agree if you are looking for an “area type” rod. These are typically short rods designed for small streams targeting tiny native trout. Casting distance is not a concern and actually detrimental at times. These rods tend to be on the fast side, but geared more towards small minnow jerkbaits or spo...

Re: 1/64oz Rod Recommendation
In that price range you might want to look at the Phenix Elixir series. They have a wide range of blanks and factory rods.
More sensitive than the St. C. but not in the same league as the premium priced models. Warranty coverage from Phenix has been good so far.

Re: Megabass new 3 piece travel rods
What I meant to say was I used the most powerful search engine known to man to find some weak sauce bootleg Instagram site that will give your iPhone a virus if you click on it where some kid in France posted a weird angle booty pick of these rods. Please like and subscribe to my you tube channel if...

Re: Megabass new 3 piece travel rods
Would someone please post a link to this content? I am having trouble finding any info (pics, specs, etc.) on these rods using google.

Re: High End Rod for Backpacking
Just realized my MB post is a duplicate of one of the rods on page one. Phenix makes a few differrent spinning travel rods in the Redeye series. I have this one and a trout one. The hard case it comes with is one of the best. Short, flat, and zippered along the edge. No problems backpacking or carry...

Re: Phenix at ICast
I second that point about bad marketing. A year plus later and we are still waiting for the production k2's. Just like automotive shows where the concept never makes the transition to production. I wish they would just say they can't get retailers to commit or the market won't justify the investment...

Wow. Almost a year later and they still haven't hit the shelves. Maybe they should rename it the KGB2 with all that secrecy.

Re: Phenix at ICast
I've been looking at my local socal phenix retailers for the production k2 rods on their shelves with no luck. Has any one found a production K2 at their local store yet?

I called Phenix and they said they've sent some production K2's to some retailers. Anybody seen them yet?

Luckycraft Funk Star Justace Rods
Does anyone have any first hand experience with these rods? I was looking at the Stingo but at 300.00 USD, I'd like to be sure it's worth the price. Ultralight bass fishing is what I'm planning to use it for. Weightless senkos, dropshot, and wacky jigging are the techniques I'd use. http://www.lucky...

Re: Steez Rods - value at lower cost?
Hate to mix the old with the new but does anyone who has fished the Daiwa Steez SVF AGS for bottom contact feel the same about a lack of sensitivity? The blank material appears to be same SVF but curious to know if the carbon fiber framed guides bring the dead back to life. Big money waste if all fo...
