Re: New Dobyn's Series
“because I feel like I’m fishing with two arm casts on” it’s clumsy, heavy and casts inaccurately. I'm sorry, but a rod simply does not cast inaccurately. It may be harder for you to cast versus other rods... but a rod does not cast inaccurately. That's entirely false. Unless it somehow loads diffe...

Daiwa Fuego CT compared to Tatula CT
Hi all, Couldn't think of a better place to answer this question than here on Tackle Tour. I currently own 2 Tatula CT (as well as multiple other standard sized) and love them. I use them mainly for frogs and flipping with heavy braid into heavy cover and they've done the job flawlessly. I was wonde...

Elite Tungsten Flip Weights
Hey all,
Has anyone out there used the Elite Tungsten flipping weights? I've used some different weights in the past where the opening was so big you couldn't really peg it with most bobber stops, mainly curious about that and the smoothness.
Thanks in advance!

West Coast order from Tackletrap shipping time?
Anyone from the west coast ever order from Tackle Trap? Wasn't sure who they use for shipping on their free shipping. Curious around how long they take. I know I could contact them but I'm sure they're a busy bunch. Thanks in advance.

Re: Dobyns Fury info posted up.
I will likely get blasted a bit here but I think what happens with a lot of us here on tackletour (I say us because I am one of them) is we tend to forget that we are a small percentage of the market when it comes to bass rods (and all tackle). Meaning, there just aren't as many people who want to s...

Re: Dobyns Fury info posted up.
http://dobynsrods.com/video/gary-dobyns-introduces-new-fury-line/ At about the :30 mark in that video the top side of the seat is shown, not sure if that helps you. It says fuji on the seat and that it is a fuji product on the website. Not sure that helps or not. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zElX...

Wanted to follow up and say thank you. The reel was exchanged with no problems to a major retailer and the new product works awesome. Thanks!

New Shimano Symetre 3000FL spool stuck
Hello, I have a brand new Shimano Symetre 3000FL that I went to put line on yesterday. Reel is brand new straight out of the box... As I was attempting to spool it up I noticed the line was only loading on the top of the reel... After thinking about it for a second I realized, the spool does not mov...

Re: How To Get A Hook Back In A Bobby's Perfect Frog?
I've ripped a few myself trying to do it. The best way I've found and heard of is... Run some thick line (easier to see and stiffer to go through better) and run it through the nose of the frog and through the belly of the bait, next take the 8 ring (best I know to name it) with new hook attached, a...

Re: Dobyns DX 746c Rod?
Any updates on the Dx746 vs 736C? I'm in the market for a heavy swimjig rod for serious cover applications like El Salto. I don't throw a swimjig hardly at all but I do own both rods. To me they are similar in action... the 736 when I am fishing it is a "stronger" rod... you get to the backbone fas...
