Re: will daiwa do this?

Had the exact same thing happen with my millionairecz only I stripped the top of all 3. I guess this is a common problem. :(

Re: Calcutta 50

I have one. I use it to troll for blue marlin.

Seriously though, I do have one, and love it for dropshotting, I also cast small tungsten spoons into schools of bluefish with it. Makes it alot of fun catching 4lb blues, on 10lb test.

Re: spool stuck in a tdx103

Lots of corosion on this thing. It spent 3 years fishing the flw and stren tour, so it has been treated pretty rough. Thanks chuck. By the way I ordered those screwdrivers now too.

spool stuck in a tdx103

A buddy of mine gave me an old tdx103 to play with, and told me If I could fix it it was mine. I can tell it needs new gears, but I cant get the spool out. No problems getting the side plate off, but the spool is just stuck in there. It spins and everything. Not sure what could be causing this unles...

Re: Gulp panfish bait fails fair tests

Have to agree with you on the gulp. I have had great success with the shrimp on mahi mahi, but have had little success with the other ones. The only other one I have caught fish on is the earthworm colored earthworm for panfish. I went surf fishing one night and put their bloodworm against fishbites...

How do they hold up, any help would be appreciated. Even though the price is great , if it doesnt ho...

bearing kit for calcutta 200gtb

I have never upgraded a reel before and am new to this. I would like to do a bearing and drag upgrade in a calcutta 200gtb. I was wondering if any of you could give me any hints like where to get better bearings that are salt water rated, and if a carbontex drag would work in the 200gtb just as it w...

Stella problem...or is it?

I work in a store and sell shimano products, I have 3 stella 20,000 and 3 stella 10,000 in stock. When Cranking the handle, after flipping the bail, the bail does not close on any of them. Is this a product problem, or is the bail designed to be closed only by hand? I have never noticed this until t...

Re: 50mg finish + brake cleaner?

Ardent makes a reel degreaser. Usually I brake mine down bare bones, soak the metal parts in hoppes gun cleaner, wash the plastic with soap and water. Use a toothbrush with soap and water inside the frame, and soak my bearings in lighterfluid. Works well for me.

Re: Avid vs. Crucial

Not much difference in the sensitivity IMHO. Not to mention that Shimano has that wonderful lifetime warranty.
