Re: MB Dark Sleeper

All sizes work for us as you can see in the pics above. However, the 3" 3/8 oz in HanaHaze and Wakasagi produce bigger fish. It is all my son fishes now until he gets them hung up and runs out. They are not cheap but did the math... it's about 42 cents a catch at the rate he is going. I keep a stash...

Re: What started out as a search for a $70 spare R+ spool...

DX702C broke in transit not in use.
Great warranty. Sent in part of the rod with $100 and a new one will be on way.

What started out as a search for a $70 spare R+ spool...

I found a spare R+ spool in this TDZ PO from a TT member :big grin: TDZ PO.jpg I like 1/8 ML rods and read a recent TT review on the 47. This one is the 7.0 and rated 1/16 - 1/2. In true TT fashion the shoes match the dress. Really excited to try this out. Not too expensive. Ordered direct with disc...

SV103 Dress Up Parts

Just got the XSL and want to add more purple. Already have an sv 103 and 105 spool in purple. As for other parts, anything TD-Z fits?

So glad they are "right-hand retrieve only". That keeps the monkey off my back.

That's a good one. I wade and fish from the banks and have had this ruinan entire day. Now I take an extra spool with me.

Any love for the Hygua yet?

I want a 2pc ML for casting and lure ratio 1/8-1/2. Volkey and Hygua are top of list now. $150 price range.
Anyone have feedback on the Hygua?

Re: 2015 Aldebaran BFS XG LTD

Nice set-ups. I like the classic Presso/Pixy combo. Where I fish, the extra 10 feet wouldn't come into play much. I miss the "661MLFB-04". Back when, searched the JDM sites with that key word and the Pixy rod was my first JDM purchase via an auction site I couldn't even read. It was a nightmare to p...

Re: tackleberry

I always check TT user sales first and the used sections at board advertisers. But... TB is not an auction site. The price you see is the price you pay. I think it is a large retailer with used inventory posted from all locations. No matter. Find the reel you want on Tackleberry. Use Chrome and righ...

Re: what's everyone's most productive lure?

Mepps Black Fury by far. Caught 15 LM in about 2 hours just yesterday. Tried lots of soft baits prior and saw no action. Tried a few spinner baits with no luck. After getting skunked the first 90 minutes, pulled out the inline and my day changed.
