Thanks for the info...

But what is the screen name of the official Daiwa rep?

Re: Welcome Daiwa!! (& Forum Guidelines)

I posted a question, and received an answer....BUT I am not sure that it was from the "official" Daiwa person; or from a helpful Good Samaritan....

What is the user name of the Daiwa person?

Tatula R Question

I bought a used Tatula R, right handed, with a shallow JDM spool.

I would like to use the spool in a lefty reel...

Will it work properly in the lefty reel?

Without any changes?

Thanks,

Fred

Broken GLX Model BCR803

The BCR 803 was my favorite jig rod.

What should I do now?

Is it still being produced?

If not, what replaced it?

Thanks,

Fred

Tatula TT Product Review

The TT review of the Tatula is dated July 5. See http://tackletour.com/reviewdaiwatatula.html I have read mnay TT reviews, and I have bought products based on the excellent reviews. Conversely, I have also avoided buying some products. I read through the Tatula review, and I was reminded of the way ...

Spare Spool for Stradic 2500 CI4

I have a Stradic 2500 CI4 spinning reel, and I am pleased with the reel's performance. I have it spooled with 7-lb Sunline Sniper F/C. I would like a spare spool to carry along during tournaments. I may spool it with 15 or 20 lb braid, or may be even 30 lbs, for those occasional situations where I n...

I looked at the list in the TT archive when considering acquiring the Metaniumm but I didn't see anything listed.

Metanium Mg Info Needed

I recently acquired a like-new Metanium Mg baitcasater. I've never had one before, and I heard that's it's equivalent to a Core 100. Is this correct? I would also like to know the line capacity of the Metanium. I don't have any immediate plans to sell, but I would also like to know the appoximate va...

Re: Bearings in New Curado G Series Reels

bearing count is deceiving to me. my old chronarch 101a is smoother than the 12 bearing pflueger supreme. dont let bearing count be you deciding factor in getting one reel over another. if you wouldnt mind telling us the reels you are comparing curado. I recall the old days of transistor radios whe...

Bearings in New Curado G Series Reels

The Bass Pro Shops catalog lists the number of bearings at 4+1, for the 4 ball bearings and one roller bearing. But the new Cabela's catalog lists 5+1. Why the difference? As long as I am on the bearing topic in the G series, why are there so few bearings? I see other brands of reels in the same gen...
