This thread seems like the best place to ask this question...
I am looking for a gold blade with a blue-gil or similar multi-colored colored skirt.
Who makes such a bait?

Re: fuego spin reels
I always compare reel weights, and I love the Daiwa Tatula. Getting off topic here, but the Tatula is very nice and light.

NRX spinning rod, drop shot model, with a Daiwa Tatula spinning reel seems to get the most use.
I really like the way the rod handles, and I use it as my all-around spinning rod.

Re: Jackall or Robo plastics for drop shot
The Roboworm worm baits float, (after you get the salt off them in a few casts), but I'm not sure if their other plastics float. It's something to consider.

Re: Swimming Senko
the Swim Senko tail provides some vibration to the lure. If that's what you want, then go for it.

Re: Storing and transporting extra casting reel spools
Bass Pro used to make and sell small hard-side cases for spinning reel spools. You could also use them for baitcasting reel spools. I don't know if they still sell them. There were two sizes. I have a few that I don't use....can send a pix to your e-mail if interested. I will sell them to you if you...

TW, Bass Pro, and Cabelas don’t carry them. Would appreciate advice on web stores.bish0p wrote:I got a bunch for my friends and myself. It's pretty handy.

The older Cabela's Prodigy reels, baitcasting and spinning. Made by Daiwa.
Got a lot of miles on them.

Re: Knot question
Get the Daichii Knot Tool 2.0. Holds the line in place and is a snack to use. I use it for all braid strengths from 6lb to 40lb and leaders from 6lb to 45lb. Comes with instructions, showing how to tie a Rizutto finish. Essential to pull hard on the knot until the braid changes colour before you ti...

Re: Backlash proof reel
Thanks for the replies, much difference between the Zillion and Tatula? The Tatula SV TW was reviewed by TackleTour and won the Editor's Choice Award. Here's one of the comments: My initial thoughts on the SV TWS reel the second I unboxed it was just how attractive the new baitcaster was. Other CT r...

Re: Bait Monkey is F***ing Me Over!!! HELP ME!
I look at the specs of the 853 and the 893, and they are the same EXCEPT that the 893 is 4 inches longer.
I don't read nearly as much about the 853 as I read many favorable comments about the 893?
Is there some major difference in the way that the two rods fish that I am missing?
