Re: Glide Baits.. <100 bucks

I love the Duel Hardcore Twitch'n Ninja Glider. I have the Gold Ayu and Holographic Shad. They glide very well with a nice flash too it.

Re: Bull Shad stock hooks?

Hey Mike, OMG, I can hardly believe I got a reply from the creator of the bull shad! Thanks for the clarification and I can completely understand the position you are in. It must be hard keeping up with the demand for the baits! After all, swaping the hooks is no big deal. I rather have a bull shad ...

Bull Shad stock hooks?

After reading countless positive reviews of the bull shad, I finally decided to purchase them. I purchased a 6" and 9", both slow sinking models. I knew what I was getting into so the crude appearance of the baits were not an issue. But what I noticed right away was that the hooks are NOT owner treb...

Re: Shore fishing setups

I just bring one setup. I like to roam and explore and carrying more then one rod is a hassle for me. If I was fishing one spot and know that I won't be moving around much, then I will take 2 setups.

Jackall Bowstick. It's loud, walks great, and is still effective in windy conditions.

Falcon FTO V4 Tackle Bag

I Bought my Falcon FTO V4 tackle bag back in 2009. It is a great tackle bag for shore fishing when you don't want to lug around a big heavy bag. Plus, it has the best shoulder strap of any tackle bag I have ever used. The shoulder strap is heavily padded and ergonomically designed. Since then and up...

Re: small jerkbaits

I just used the Duo Realis Rozante 63sp for the first time this past weekend. It darts okay but it rolls very well which gives off a lot of flash. As previously stated from an earlier post, it is a slow floater. Mine did not suspend. Nevertheless, it is a nice little lure, I like it a lot! As of thi...

Re: Need help with snap swivel for hard baits.

I don't like using swivels either for jerkbaits. I just use a snap. I used to use duo lock snaps size #2. Now I use Decoy egg snaps size #2. However, when fishing in heavily pike infested waters, I use snaps, swivels and tieable nylon coated stainless steel leader material to make leaders.

Re: small jerkbaits

The older yo-zuri pins minnow are hard to find. Your best bet is to keep checking ebay. Once in awhile, they do pop up. I am guessing you don't like new pins minnow as much as the older one? As for lucky craft pointer 48 and 65, there is a seller on ebay by the username "ilovehardbait". He's based o...

Re: I forgot how fun small river fishing is!!!

I also like to fish small rivers with my ultralight setup. For the most part, the fish are smaller. However, once in awhile, I hook into something big. Then it's game on! It is a really good test of my abilities to land a fish. So you like using the yo-zuri pins minnow. It's one of my favorite ultra...

Re: Megabass x-70/x-80 jerkbaits

The X-80 is good small jerkbait. It has a good darting action and the rattles are loud. Just how good is the X-80? I actually prefer the X-80 over the 110.

Re: Your Favorite Discontinued Bait

I've already mentioned the older pin's minnows, but I forgot about two other discontinued lures from yo-zuri that I liked.

Yo-zuri Arms Shad Micro
Yo-Zuri Arms Minnow Micro

I only have one left of each. Once I loose them, its the end of that! LOL

Re: Your Favorite Discontinued Bait

Yo-Zuri Pin's Minnow, the 2" and 2 3/4"

Oh, they are still being made, I was referring to the colors. I like the older models that had the FOIL finish on them. They were more reflective in the water. Its to bad they don't make those ones anymore. The newer colors are ok, but I miss those foil ones.
