Re: Pixy Airy Red Project Covid

Can’t wait to get this reel on the water But I’ve been struggling to get a rod for it. I see that there are some new limited Megabass rods coming out I had toyed around with that thought. But I think a 6’8” or 10” rod will be the ticket. Silly but I do not even have a reel need for this reel other t...

Re: Steez Limited 105 paint ?

I have two of them no paint issues However the old Shimano mg7 the JDM version I got someone to put a clear coat on it. It was slicker when wet than water is on oil. Just something I to think about. Do you fish yours? What do you do to keep them looking new? Tempted to offload mine to a collector f...

Goldie you shouldn't let the fact that the Brennie can't swap out spools suede you for not picking one up it was my favorite 50 style reel by Shimano. Such a gem 8-)
I may just do that
Got some stuff to move off the shelf. I noticed I buy older reels cause I like them

Re: Whose Ready For light lines and Jerkbaits

I might be ready, but just to be safe I'll go buy a few more  Jerkbait.jpg I don't have a jerkbait problem. The fish have a jerkbait problem! I like the variety. So many people get hung up on using only 110s, that they miss out on some other really good baits like those that will often outprod...

Re: Anymore 50 sized reels?

Nice collection only BFS XG and Brenious that are missing. Too bad I’m selling the almost new Brenious but in right hand. I nearly brought the Brenious Learned that the reel wouldn’t accept any other 50 spool and that sucks. I’m looking but not looking for a core 50. It’s one that’s hard to find in...

Re: Long distance finesse plastics rod

Have you looked at a Helium 3? I looked and then ran away. For some reason all the US rods looks like they were made in a shed in the dark in 1991. Rods gotta look the part. This is what it is replacing. I understand look the part, Im looking for a rod for my airy covid pixy.. for what your asking ...

Re: 2021 steez ags rods

It's much appreciated, no rush! I kinda like those hook keepers - small and variable enough to put anywhere (like the Fuji ones), but with an open loop at the bottom so I can slide t-rigged baits and DS weights underneath. Biggest issues is that the rubber loop to hold it on isn't all that strong (...

Re: Long distance finesse plastics rod

Some rods are pure finesse and some are finesse that encroach upon the BFS world and then there pure BFS as I see it. The sensor is pure finesse in my humble opinion. I had to really figure this out for myself because there was a time when I think I was skirting on the line and trying to ride that g...
