Re: Megabass Flipping ??

Why not have one made? for about the same price and to your specifications.. I had Mr. Matt build me one as a gift to myself and it is: Light Balanced the taper is exactly right for me the action is exactly what I was looking for has premium components cosmetically pleasing and is spiral wrapped wit...

Re: Quantums S3 series baitcasters

Anybody mess with the new S3 series of baitcasters yet? I know most on here are Daiwa and Shimano only people, but there are a few of us seeing the ups of the new reels coming out of the OEM manufacturers. Shimano and daiwa aren't the only people there is also Megabass... :big grin: :big grin: I ha...

Riot Baits Lil Creeper Jig VS. Kietech Football Jig

I've been fishing them both and although the Kietech is tungsten its HOOK is so much smaller than the Lil Creeper. Both are great but the Riot Baits jig is better although the head is bigger so is the hook. If it had a tungsten head it would be 100% perfection.. The Kietech has the better skirt but ...

Re: WTB a rod, Something Different

What about a kistler h3? Seems to get a lot of praise for lightness and sensitivity. Great price if its as good as i read. I got one on the way this week i bought into the hype. I received a H3 7’1” medium heavy The H3-7’1” is my third stick in the H3 lineup I have a couple others and they are the ...

Re: Shimano AND Daiwa

This is my frustration. The D7 core platform worked but now discontinued?? So I’m in too deep to sale with additional cosmetic and performance parts If it was a Steez reel I would still be in good order with so many crossover parts That’s all I’m saying. Like the people who brought that fast car. Po...

Shimano AND Daiwa

Why is it that Shimano changes their reel more often than Daiwa
Then you can’t find parts but people are still fishing TD-Z and have parts

Re: TOTAL DESTRUCTION

Goldrod go ahead take the leap of faith my friend :big grin: I hear it is very very nice 5 power rod. Although the 17 US Destroyer line hasn't quite grabbed me there are two rods in particular and the daemos is one of them that I'd like to eventually bring over. I'm on a Core inplex kick though :lo...

Haven’t had much real time with them. Just a couple cast.
Action is tight. Supped up Shad rap comes to mind. You can sling it for sure

Re: Light and Tough? It Does EXIST and It's Made by Daiwa

Daiwa has taken the lead
All things considered , how could they not.
I’m sure the shootout will reveal this. I’m so sure that if Daiwa didn’t win
I’d buy you a Stella (16oz)

Re: Light and Tough? It Does EXIST and It's Made by Daiwa

I am excited to read about the shoot out between the two reels.

I wish i could say Shimano fought the good fight......I wish I could tell you that ...but Tackle Tour is no fairytale world.
