Re: Conquest Skeptic

Accidentally posted in the REEL forum. I've been busy all summer so I haven't had much of a chance to fish but recently, been looking at the Conquest rods. I bought 2 to start out with. The 844c and 843c. Brought the 843c to the river and bounced some 1/8 oz swimbaits around and man, I love the rod...

Re: Conquest Skeptic

Do you feel as if these are the best bass rods ever made. I bought a conquest a few months ago but I haven’t even held it yet. I’m waiting to get home for leave from ait. I wasn't too impressed with it. I had the 843c and got rid of it. I liked the balance and the reel seat was nice. I didn't feel ...

Re: I believe she is the "one"

I’m going to have to try it.
I only use mine for c-rigs but I’m going to get it out today
Thanks for the motivation albeit I have the green blank.
I tend to wonder if there is a difference between the blue and green

Daiwa for the win.

I love my Shimano’s but I think Daiwa will pull this one off.
It would be interesting to see abu do something radical though.

6 and 8 xd and like style baits

How are you fishing them, what ipt and what’s helped you become more successful with them, ie line size, location etc.

Sir what reel are you running it in?

Re: Blue Emblem vs. Current ZPI PG and M offerings

The platform is Steez LTD or sv103xs ( the zillion frame Steez spool)
There’s no specified intended use other than to discover what that would be based off reel and rod combination
Maybe a Steez sv reel.

Blue Emblem vs. Current ZPI PG and M offerings

I can only have one
but I am not sure which.. I was leaning towards the M but the nostalgia
of the BE makes me want to it. I need help because i've never had either and I am not sure what I am getting in terms of performance..
