Re: Megabass rods

I my time with the MB Rods I’ve only broken one However I have only broken one of this or that brand I wonder why some people seem to break rods F R E Q U E N T L Y. I’m sure every rod brand has cons, but I’ve not had the experience of breaking multiple MB rods. I believe that the X7 line up has a h...

The black jungle deep cranking slow rolling is much more of a moving bait rod. Love it for 1/2 oz spinnerbaits and chaterbaits and crankbaits, not so much for jigs. The power versatile is a much more powerful rod.
Thanks
I was hoping that was the case

Re: New Poison Adrena

Very light as expected but more power than expected. The 611m+ feels closer to MH. The 72mh works excellent for texas rigs and swimjigs. I’ve been considering another rod in this line up. How’s the backbone of the 72? I was looking at the model above the 72 but than the Otomat lingers in my ear. Ju...

Re: What buzz toad setup(s) are you running?

Seems light to me. 8-10lb test is just asking for heart break Appreciate it. What setup and lb test do you use? I use old scorpion reel 4x4 with V2 braid 40lb and new curado rod.. 7'2" rod that has plenty of backbone that's what I've been using to swim jig with as well. Of late, i've been shifting ...

Quick Decision MB or Jackall

I have to make a quick decision between the MB black Jungle Deep Crank or a Poison Adrena 7'2" only have til 1700 today to decide. Which and Why? I have a MB Power Versatile so I think the MB DC will be similar but still it is the Black Jungle line however I have the 6'11" Posion Adrena and the 7'2"...

7.9:1 Gear

This seems to be that special gear ratio.
Most of my contacts have swapped gear sets with this gear ratio
Maybe it’s the durability of them but I’m not sure.

Re: Daiwa reels - gaudy or sexy?

Lol...this is TT. There's threads dedicated to showing off "gaudy" reels. If you want plain jane looking stuff, Amazon has that. Lol... there are threads for lots of things. It doesn't mean they represent the most popular opinions. I will say though that it seems like there is a lot of flashy Daiwa...

Re: New and old Plastics that your C-Rigging

I'm old-school. If I c-rig, its gonna be a Zoom magnum lizard. Nothing like the old school after your post i went into the garage, I have a good amount of zoom lizards But the old Tiki lizards were a huge step above and I had very few of them. I wished they bring them back..For now i will use some ...

I have the 7’3 MH and the 7’2 heavy at the moment , last one will be the 6’11+. I have the Antares A on the 7’3 and it’s great , the Steez A on the 7’2 and it’s perfect.
Steez A 🤔
What’s the weight of that reel? This may change everything :big grin:
