Re: Over 40 with a child Under 6 Months

The wife and I left it a bit late... We've been together for 12 years, she's 4 years older than me - some say she stole from the cradle but I like to think I robbed the grave... We lost our first child during pregnancy at 15 weeks... Took a great hit on us both... However 6 months or so later we ha...

Re: Do you mind Daiwa going full Made In Thailand?

I do understand your point and I think that what you pointed is an examply of bad QC. An examply of good QC would be a direct line of communication between R&D manufacturing and distributor or having an R&D engineer on site. Megabass can do it right with their made in China rods so there are no exc...

Re: Do you mind Daiwa going full Made In Thailand?

Would you feel better if instead of made in Thailand it said made in the USA? Quality control is a good but in one of my classes we studied how QC although in place the QCI team weren’t on the premises and when you have a product being manufactured in a different country sometimes things really get...

I regularly fish Riot Baits Minima Jigs. Awesome full weight small profile Flippin jig.
Have you tried stroking a compact jig?
I think I’ll try that. I know most people do it with a heavy jig but why not right ?

Re: Dream Jig Rod Build

The hardest thing for me is always the blank.
I started this thread to help me with ideas to my next build

I’m just stuck on the blank.
I know how I want my reel seat handle but I’d like some of those rose petals in the blank who makes that ?

i was kidding, i've never had problems feeling anything with any of the steez rods i've owned.
I know.
It’s a pretty good stick. I’ve heard people say that it dead in the hands but i like you haven’t had that experience. I attribute it to having a shimano on a Daiwa rod.
