Re: KTF KAHEN Spool For Steez

I have yet to actually fish with the spool but testing in the steez tw it is very nice. My only complaints is the spool cost more than ZPIs but gotta pay to play. how much more? I have been informed that when ordering from KTF they add "odd" fees and are less inclined to customer service should you...

In the world of after market spools KTF was my first taste of expensive ...

Love this!

Got a bit more to go but i put 14# sun line Floro and it comes off nice.
The zpi handles it really well and that’s the first time I’ve put a zpi pg in that reel

Re: Completed projects

Good work! Don’t you wish companies would use the same colors for anodizing? It’s also amazing how much we’re willing to spend on making our reels more blinged out. But that’s a lot of the enjoyment of fishing these beauties when they’re done. It was a costly lesson but I’m making the best of it. L...

Lets Talk Spools

I've had this 1012 G1 SV spool for a few days and have had a couple outing with it and I put it in a IS79 and I have another IS79 with a SV spool in it. They are night and day different from one another. I was hoping to find that other people have used the 1012 G1 SV and what their thoughts were?

Re: What are your thoughts and experiences

What are you looking for your rod to do? I have first gen 6’10 m expride and it is an unbelievable jb rod. I use it for 110 jr, reg 110 and 110 +1 and I have used it for 1/4 to 1/2 topwaters with excellent results. I have the chimera which I already commented on and I have javelin which is my favor...

Re: Full arsenal

Nice collection of random MB rods! You got all the bases covered. I really like the white stingray skin ( I think that’s what it is) looking grip on your custom. It is stingray skin. About drove my rod guy to madness over that one. It is not visible, but it is tied together with deer skin lac...
