Re: quantum energy pti

i have been out on the water fishing my energy for at least 300 days, have caught 7 pound walleye, 5 pound bass, 6 pound pickerel and this reel has performed flawlessly. Not one complaint, excellent drag and silky smooth.

Re: Team Daiwa Tournament Flippin Stick

I have the team diawa light and tough series flippin and pitching rod, it has tons of back bone and can flip jigs from from 1.5 ounces down to 1/4 with no problem. When fishing heavy cover with this rod you never feel like the fish is going to get the upper hand.

Re: Buzz Buzz Buzz Buzz'rd Buzzbait

Just buy cavitrons they are in my opinion the best buzzbaits out there along with the slowest ones, they have a head design that makes it stay on top real fast and it already has a bend in the frame. http://www.cavitron.com

Re: Tica surf spinning rod

i am looking for a spinning rod not casting, for some reason or another i do not like to buy "house brands" such as bps, yes they have good rods but there is just something about it. I feel they are other companies failed designs they they sell off. This probably is not true but i am more comfortabl...

Tica surf spinning rod

has anyone had any experience with the tica 9 foot surf rod, looking to use it off the beach for blues and stripers. Any comments would be greatly apprecieated along with any other rods for surf casting in the $80 range. I dont do it all that much so i am not looking to drop an arm and a leg.

Re: No Boat

Wade fishing is one of my favorite forms of fishing, i use a 6 foot light st. crox rod with a small stradic. You can cast this thing all day long, by using waders you will go to a lot of places people over look. It is also a great way to find what type of bottom there is and when it changes to grave...

Re: 2005 Review List - What Would YOU Like to See?

I would like to see a shootout review on the following jigs
All Terrain grass jigs, Ripplers jigs, manns stone jigs, bass stalker jigs, and strike king pro model, (see if denny brauer has been telling the truth that his jigs are the best.)

Re: plastic problems

You might want to check out the ewg hooks made by hookerz tackle, they are super sharp and half the price of others. Dont take this personally or any thing but what is the big deal in not being able to keep the bass you caught. I am strictly catch and release bass this does not mean you have to be. ...

Re: Diving in after equipment

the fishing club i belong to has boats that you use and are locked up. Well i dropped the lock in the water on the way back right under the dock. The water was shallow about 4 feet. Well what a pain, it was about a foot of muck and i had to shove my hand down in this stuff about a foot down to reach...
