Re: Any Pixy Enthusiast left?

Awesome reels with a little tuning on the drag. I find the factory spool and bearings to be quite a handful for even a very experienced caster when attempting to run the minimum required on the mag dial. Still got my 03 and 04 reels and rods all NIB stashed away here. Four items I can't see myself p...

Insane lineup Rise. I'm very happy to see you found what you've been hunting. Your enthusiasm in your search has been second to none. Congrats! =D> My favourite is still the Topaz. Absolutely stunning reel in the hand. What a great thread this is. Some of TT's most dedicated enthusiasts serving it u...

Re: Monoblock Appreciation Society.

Being that the I'ze factory is the size of a normal bedroom, I'm sure they passed on the design to Yuki, or was Yuki involved with I'ze? We know in the past Daiwa and the I'ze Factory have had some success in past ventures, I.E. the custom TD-Z series, and the I'ze Light. I don't know who approache...

Re: Monoblock Appreciation Society.

The I'ze Factory are the pioneers of this design. Plat have it listed as being paged on 4th August 2007. I was in touch with Ogawa san in regards to a purchase of one at this time. I recall it was showcased quite some time before this date also, as I was anxious as to why it was taking Plat so long ...

Re: Monoblock Appreciation Society.

From memory the I'ze Factory produced the Nanbu Shikki before the XR100 was released. Pretty sure the I'ze Factory are the true founders of the "Monoblock" platform.

Re: Millionaires Club

I'm the other way around. I have both the SLC and the SSS. The SSS in it's own right is a super nice piece, but I reckon the SLC is very elegant. If I had to keep just one of my Ringa's, it'd be my SLC. Keep me comin ladies and gents. I really dig this thread. 8-) I got a few others stashed away her...

Re: Super Leggra

They are exquisite in the hand. I had mine land last week, and I'm now proudly one of the Crazy 99. :evil22: Would be cool to see some of the combinations others got. Might kick off a thread for it and try to get some nice pics. A lil teaser... http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk187/hardb8/P104001...

Re: Three of a kind.

I see your pictures get cut off too!? Err all of mine do. Look like some awesome reels, too bad we can't say the same for a steady camera hand  The older you get, the shakier your hands get. Someone needs to develop an app for that. Three A.o.i.'s. I have issues. =P~ Your fine mate...

Really like the mods you've done. The 103 Light is more than capable straight outta the box, this one will now be real special... =D>

Re: Millionaires Club

Cheers, thanks Basser.

I'm afraid you can't visit mate, cause you'd end up with only two Shiki's left in ya collection, and my wallet would be way lighter.

Bad for us both.

Re: Monoblock Appreciation Society.

My name is Hardb8, and I'm a Blockaholic. I have to stick my hand up to be part of the M.A.S. Got hooked on a JDM CV-Z 103 in the beginning as a kid. It's brethren, and it's evolution, have been an ongoing addiction I cannot seem to shake. http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk187/hardb8/Reels/P10307...
