Both are great knots, I prefer the uni to uni, and I've found that doubling up your braid really helps when working with 40lb fluro.

Fluorocarbon leader...30 lb is a good place to start...Throw that snap swivel away...Tie a 6 ft leader direct to main line, I like uni to uni, (strong, quick, and rarely fail, remember to double up your braid) but there are alot of knots out there. Have fun.

I fish both Stradic 2500, and Quantum Catalyst inshore in the 20 size, for Snook, Tarpon, Reds, Trout. Both are great all around reels. I have had to replace bearings in both Stradics after about a year and a half. The quantum is lighter, but still strong. I have caught Tarpon and Snook up to 20lbs ...

Did a 4 day redfish journey this past weekend, All quality red's were caught on a 3in shrimp in new penny on a jighead......They seemed to love it. Buddy swears by the glow jerkshad...gonna try that next trip...just dont spill the juice in bag on your cooler...boy does it stain fast.

Been using my Revo in Salt since Santa brought it this X-mas....No problems so far (besides a little boat rash)...rinse it off (mist) and spray down with Salt away...no problems Just lots of Snook.

I have 3 Stradics in different sizes, My 2500 which is the only one I use for both fresh and salt, The other 2 are saltwater only...And my 2500 is noisy as hell...I've cleaned, lubed, etc....No help, only noisy when spool is on, tryed other spool same thing, take spool off quiet, and smooth...any id...

Yep the ones in the review. Why don't you like them?....I mostly use Booyah counter strikes or Hildebrandt....was just looking to try something new.

Take a look at the Quantum Catalyst inshore series of reels....I have personally caught many 3-6 lbs bass...snook, and even 10-12lb Tarpon on my 2 Catalyst 20's with 20lb power pro, lighter, smoother and a lot quieter than my 2500 Stradic....at only a 129 bucks....when this Stradic finally goes, Ill...
