Re: Andy Montgomery/Daiwa

Hate to see all those "sponsorship" deals, and never pay attention what anglers say about the product they sponsored with.
Would be interesting to see what brands majority would pick, if they have to spend own money.

Re: What are your best lures for spotted bass?

Really hard to pick something specific, because that aggressive specie bites everything what swims. I caught spotted bass on every lure I own, except big swimbaits. Hardbaits - Megabass Vision OneTen, color - any silver with flash (replicates blueback herring) Soft plastic - Zoom Trick worm, speedwo...

If I would pick a rod specifically for chatterbaits/ squarebill crankbaits that would be it.
Love the Glorious series - very well made rods.

Re: Daiwa KTF 30mm and 34mm Spool Availability

Compare those spools to ZPI M and ZPI PG , is the KTF Versatile Finesse Spool "KAHEN" Daiwa similar or matching ZPI NRC001M spool by capacity and KTF Neo Spool "KAHEN" Daiwa similar or matching to ZPI NRC001PG by capacity? Reason I'm asking, I have a ZPI NRC001M and I completely satisfied with it ca...

Re: USDM Black Labels

Daiwa is bringing models where they already have tons of competition, instead of better research local market and get here the short frog models where competition almost non-exist. 671MHFB-FR 631 MHF-FR 7011 MHX B-FR But, who cares, I would order the models I'm interested in from Japan anyway ( by m...

Probably something similar to Poison Adrena, which been selling on Internet, quite a
long time, and came up as a "new" product on US market.

Yeah, I have some Poison Glorious and Ultimas rods, and they are really cool rods. Love those handles.
However, my next rod is going to be a Daiwa RD.

Re: Hooks/Split Rings

Do not like Owner hooks in saltwater, because they rust.
Split rings are great though.

Switched completely from Owner to Gamakatsu.
Nanosmooth Coat for freshwater.
Hyper Shield for saltwater.
