Re: handle zillion type r

Did the cup washer come off (what the handle seats on when the handle came loose)? If so, the shoulders of the the shaft are just eating into the backside of the handle. Pics would help figure it out, if you can post some up. this must be what happened. I looked at my 50th anniversary zillion, but ...

Re: Tatula sv vs TD-Z 103hl

don't need to hold anything down, just press the button. You can press button down with your thumb and hold spool at the same time or I just move my thumb after pressing button. I have 2 tdx and 1 tdz with that feature and have been using them since 2003 with no problems. No experience with the Tatu...

Re: Big Braid for Big Baits

I use 65 b pp with no problems. The biggest I usually throw is a 4.5 oz baby possum and don't use a leader. When you get to those size baits I think the fish don't key into the line. To qualify most of my water is stained.

hook hanger

Not to sure this is the correct place to post this... I have a tatula 7'7" MR that has the open hook hanger on the left side. For some reason the line keeps on catching on it . What is the best way to take it off without damaging the rod? thanks for any help. john

short stem spinning reels

Other than getting an ultra light spinning reel are there any 2500 or 3000 size reels with a shorter stem? Havent used a spinning reel going on 18 years and looking for one where I can feather the line coming off the reel with my index finger on my casting hand. Must have smaller sized hands as my f...

shimming older tdx, tdz reel seets

broke out some older reels and switched rods around. I cant get the reels tight on a St Croix and a Falcon Expert. I remember a long time ago there were some home made remedies for this. Also if I remember correctly the Ito came with one. Don't really want to spend any money so what are your solutio...

Ima Roumba fish slow , stop and go, and with a few small shakes of the rod which makes it kinda jump and change directions
