Wow! thats exactly the rod i was thinking of. i guess great minds think alike. im thinking ti/sic guides, spiral wrapped, plain fugi reel seat, split grip, and no foregrip. but for the split grip, part near real seat will be cork and bottom eva/hypalon.

Other than big baits, of course, i found that the bbs is great for pitching jigs with heavy lines 105yds of 20. im gunna load it up with fc and start doing some serious jigging. but i first need a custom jig rod? what blanks would you suggest?

u can probably get a loomis MBR783-2C on ebay for a little more than 250. not a true pitching rod but it will get the job done

i never tried them what color would you suggest for a starter color?
