Re: Any news or excitement about Jackall Poison USDM drop?

This is being discussed in more detail over on the TT review thread FYI.

I'm excited for these but trying to figure out what the deal is with them being 2 piece

Seperates in the middle of the blank. These come in both 1 and 2 piece.[/quote]

So you have to worry about it coming apart during casting and what not? The only rod I own that is 2 piece is my 11' surf fishing rod. If that's the case then I'm out on these.

What's with the 2 piece? I don't think TW makes mention of this but on Shimano Japan's website I think all of the rods being offered in USDM are 2 piece.

I would imagine you don't take it apart, that it just means the handle is separate and it's not one continuous blank?

Re: Shimano and Jackall Prepare to Launch New Poison Adrena rods and Lures at the Classic

I was looking at getting another MB Destroyer, but these have my eye for now. Waiting to see what models/tapers they come out with. Listed on TW, but only a few models. There's more in the lineup. Sounds like the 4 models listed are the only ones coming to the states. Alex Davis did a video on them...

Re: Megabass IXI Shad

One thing though that is kinda bothering me at the moment is the weight system. I like it but it seems to have a harder time moving to the back of the lure than the front. I have to give it a hard shake in order to move it back. A cast should generate a lot more momentum / inertia than you can with...

Megabass IXI Shad

I just picked up one of the type 3. Anyone fish them yet? Will try to report back when I'm able to get out in a couple weeks. The hooks are very small. Seems comparable to a shad rap to me.

Anyone have a chance to fish these yet? I still have a couple weeks to go in my neck of the woods.

Re: Is there a better deep jerkbait than the staysee 90

KVD Deep is good but you need to change out the hardware (splits + hooks).

Ima flit is another one that catches in that deeper range. Will be interested to see how the 110 +2 does this year.

Re: Orochi XXX Jadepython vs new Destroyer VLC for bottom contact

Yes, the slantbridge must be sweet, but this is out of my scope. The orochi xxx jadepython is the one i'm considering. Thanks a lot for the info, jerkbait22! I will probably only use it for applications with the hook exposed, so that won't be a problem. Mostly small jigheads with some plastic like ...

Yes, the slantbridge must be sweet, but this is out of my scope. The orochi xxx jadepython is the one i'm considering. I own the jadepython. I really like it but it's definitely on the lighter side of the rating. I'd say it's sweet spot is 1/8-1/4oz. It's been best to me for ned rigging. If you're ...

Re: Exsence vs Stella FJ

Thanks guys. If I end up with the Stella, it looks like it will be the 2500 series. I was set on the exsence but then started thinking if I'm gonna "go in" I might as well go all the way. Moving in with the GF soon so it's probably the right time to make the purchase lol.

This. Bantam1 told me it has the same frame as the 3000 and a shallower spool. The 3000 is for saltwater fishing.

I have both reels and can put up a picture if you want.

Can you compare the exsence vs stella FJ?

If you guys want a sleeper bait check out the Raid level minnow. Not to make it more confusing for the non-initiated
