This spring I had a HDS 12 touch installed at the console and had the gen 1 HDS5 moved to the bow and connected to the transducer of my fortrex with the built in transducer. Re: Steez or T-3
Thanks for the info. Nitro, my intentions are to use it as an all around reel for bass fishing as I do with my TDZ's, Core 50's and 50mg's.

Steez or T-3
Wanting to buy a new reel. I am familiar with the Steez. How does the T-3 compare. I bass fish only. Love quality and smoothe reels. Help is appreciated from anyone who has tried both or has good input. Thanks.

Yo Zuri Hybrid vs Monofilament
I fish for large and small mouth bass. My go to reels are my TD-Z's and one Pixy. I currently use mono (trilene xl or suffix elite) and do okay other than occasional backlash. Is Yozuri Hybrid a better line to use? I want smoothe long casts and manageable line with little or no memory and backlash. ...

Re: THIS ONE IS FOE EVERYONE TO REPLY
Keep the replys coming, I love the info. I do cast ine handed and roll cast for splashless entry. I went fishing today using my Allstar 6' rod with shorter cork handle. Could not imagine being as accurate or casting around structure etc with a 7 plus foot rod. I know rods are lighter today, so is my...

THIS ONE IS FOE EVERYONE TO REPLY
I am 47 y/o. I used to own bass boats 20 plus years ago and fish often. Amb 4600C reels were the real deal. My posting is for this. Myself and everyone used lightweight 5 1/2 or 6' rods for everything except flipping. This is what everybody used and recommended. Now I recently got a new boat and bac...

Re: Skeeter SX170 Bass Boat
I own a 2006 Ranger 178VS with a 150 Optimax and folding tongue on trailer. This was the only boat I found in this length rated for a 150. My garage is 20 ft deep with a recess area that gives me another several feet fir the motor only. This boat total takes about 21.5 feet to clear. You may think a...

Want New Reel Pixy Or Sol
I am tossing around getting a new Sol or Red Pixy. The Pixy is almost $100 more. I want a small finesse reel and have heard good of both. Seems everyone gets them DR tuned anyway. Is the 100 extra for the pixy worth it? Your opinions are much appreciated. I currentyl fish for LMB using several TD-Z....

I recently got back into using baitcasters and fishing for LM bass. What is the best mono line to use?? I have experience a long time ago using trilene XL. Currently using Suffix Elite. I want good casting and less backlash. Any pros and cons to these lines or any others. Any/all recommendations are...
