Re: Enjoy saltwater game...
Frankly speaking, I'm a baitcaster fanatic, but once an incident where my Conquest 201 almost slipped off from my grip due to extremely hard strike and initial run makes me think to use a BC again for saltwater fishing. And there is few incidents where my fellow angler almost had their BC set thrown...

Re: How bad is the snakehead problem?
in addition to banhock's comments, the snakehead was known to have medicinal values for quick healing of internal injuries. Post natal women recover much faster if they consume the fish.

Re: Boat transportation?
OIC, the regulation is same down here. Basically our local requirement is as the following: The trailer itself must been registered with road transport department and carry individual unique registration number plate. Trailer must have individual road tax. Permit for car to tow the trailer. For cart...

Boat transportation?
I know that in United States, hardcore anglers bring their watercraft using trailers. Is there a requirement by the authority that you need a special permit to carry this watercraft along with your car to your fishing spot? In my country, even with car toppers, we need to apply a special permit from...

Mine would be:
MajorCraft's Major Stick Diamondbacks (opsss... this rod broken few month ago, I'm looking for a replacement, maybe Tenryu Shasta...?)
Shimano Conquest 201
12lbs Rapala Tough / Long Cast mono (heck, I just hate superlines)

Re: Mangrove Snapper Lure ???
You can use shallow divers such as Rapala Shad Rap Shallow Diver, Husky Countdown and many others that resemble roaming mullet.
You also can use Storm and Panther Martin softbaits.
That's what we use in here.

Spin-fly
It was drizzling after the Jln Duta toll plaza at 6:45 in the morning. After wearing a raincoat, I’m on the right track again heading to TowFoo. At full throttle, my bike is flying along the North – South Highway at maximum speed. After taking a roti canai and teh tarik gelas besar for...

Re: Soft plastics applications
The problem relies on visibility. Putting wire leader, swivel or anything that can bee seen by the fish means no hit. Using braided line also not an exception. They won't take it. I just wonder is there any manufacturer is producing soft wire leader with fluorocarbon coating. The wire must not...

Re: Soft plastics applications
Usually I used these soft plastic on shallow water found on pay ponds. I rigged them with yes Gamakatsu Cobra 27 or Johnson Beetlespin jig hooks. Sometime with Gamakatsu Octopus hooks for Wacky rig or absolutely worm hooks for carolina or texas rigs. Now I have a very big problem. Usually the fish w...

Re: Cheap drag tuning kit
No, I haven't tried on larger reel since I had modified them using HT100 drag material. So far I did this modification on my tiny Tica Cetus SS500 reel. On the original package, the reel has jerky drag performance on start-up phase due to small surface of its drag washer. I don't like it since I'm a...

Cheap drag tuning kit
To whom that wish to tune their ultralight reel to have a smooth drag performance, just follow this simple direction. Find a piece of 3.5" floopy disk which has a marking made from Teflon. Take out the storage media disc and cut it into an exact size of your drag washers. Use a paper punch to make a...
