Why Jerks are good...
Not huge but a fun way to end my bass fishing for the year (unless I get lucky when I take my son for trout this weekend!). deltafish-dec2011-web.jpg Took my dusty kickboat (I usually prefer my buddies Ranger!) to the CA Delta for 2.5 hours and was rewarded with 5 largemouth...although I was really ...

Re: Favorite color of feathered trebles?
Steve, Thanks for the feedback! Yes, still tying jigs but not nearly as much as I used to. Been busy with my Moto Hooks at TW and Monster. Need to start working on some jigs as my tourney partner knows how to lose them! LOL Great to hear they've done well for you! Is it the Arkie's? Thanks again for...

Favorite color of feathered trebles?
If you've seen in the classified forums the feathered trebles for sale, that's me. I have a little more time in the winter (less tournaments) and have a love for fly tying so have to supplement my desire to tie by doing these simple ties before getting into my trout flies for my family and donations...

Re: Where do Largemouth go in the Summer??

I know it is amazing to see what bass will go under in the heat of summer and catch plenty of fish extremely shallow in very warm, shallow water. If you notice there ar...

Re: fishing plastic swimbaits and swimjigs
For swimjigs I have to say dirty water near cover has always worked better for me. I know my team partner did really well earlier this year fishing some TBF tournaments when it was cold, windy and some dirty water. Even had big fish for one of the tournaments (almost 8lbs). As for the swimbaits, I t...
