Re: Sunline Defier Armilo for cranking?

Armilo is good for the money, but the green Defier is the cat's meow! I have used it for cranking, and topwater for years without any issue. Granted it is expensive for mono, but well worth it IMHO. I heard rumor early last year that they were going to stop importing the green Defier so I bought up ...

Re: F5-75X7 Extreme Mission

Jorrick, I love mine for throwing Fat Ikas. I have used it for T-rigging other creature baits but I really like it for the Ika, my buddy turned me on to the EM and he also uses his for the Fat Ika. Thanks man but you got me thinking What line size are you using just in general with that rod and how...

Re: 2015 exist spool question

I tried to find the message I had from Jun from Japantackle for my inquiry about compatible spools for my 2015 Exist 2510R. I can’t remember which spools he replied back with for my reel but if you don’t get any responses or info here, would be worth asking Jun about yours.

Re: Certate 2500-H JDM

Daiwa needs to take the last step and get rid of the remaining gold on the Certate. The gold on the Certate is the titanium nitride spool lip, which is a good thing. The gold also matches very well with a Megabass Destoryer rod :big grin: I agree on the gold matching the Destroyer series, the new E...

Re: What are you cranking with?

Hey Jorrick, it depends on the bait I’m throwing. Typically I’m throwing 11 lbs for most lighter 1/4-3/8, I’ll go up to 15 lbs for some DD baits. Like you, I waited until a sale and stocked up and now have several spools. Also heard rumor earlier this year that Defier was no longer going to be avail...

super sexy reels. awesome.

what line is that? nice dark green colour to it as well. Big Game?
Thanks! That’s Sunline Defier, IMHO, the best cranking line available.

Re: Shimano and G.Loomis Launch Limited Edition Bantam MGL & IMX-Pro Combos

take my money please! as amazing as this combo is for the price, I am kind of thinking it might have been better to pair the bantam up with one of the newer more 'all around' MBR IMX Pro's like an 843c or 903c would it not? Even better price/deal from an online vendor offering an additional 10% off...

Re: Protecting reels from scratches

I'm super conscious about putting covers on my reels when not in use, even if I'm just stopping for a quick break to have a drink in my boat, I put the cover on before resting the rod/reel next to me. In my old bass club, whenever I sold any of my reels, they went quick as everyone knew how I treate...

Re: Tackle Tour LIVE

I could host the watch this backlash special! Wind here has been fierce (15-25 with gusts over 35). I had two reels blow up on me bad last weekend  It was super windy when I went out Sunday, and I can say that both the NRC001-M (and presumably PG) and Daiwa SV Light spools are both incredible ...

Re: Protecting reels from scratches

SW reels are notorious for getting banged up on the SoCal longrange sport boats, they'd hit other reels or the walls when in the boat's rod holders. To prevent this from happening to my higher end reels, and rods too, I used 3M Clearbra on them. The same stuff used on cars. It's fairly easy to apply...

My main my casting DS setup is a Conquest BFS on an Edge Black Widow BWC DSR 710-1. I've also used my Megabass Carbon Hein and Steez Racing Design STZ RD 6101ML+ with my PX Type R in a pinch.
