Re: 70 size spool options

Dumb question, but are these fit for the new Steez CT SV?

Re: Budget salt water casting reel

Budget can be a relative word, now having said that, the Tranx 200 has been touted as the perfect bay rod here in San Diego for the local spotties and halibut. I've seen BNIB reels going for as low as $175...

For those who have 'fuzzing', what guides are on the rod you used with the Gliss?
The rods I use all have Ti SIC guides.

Re: another "what's next for daiwa?" thread

[quote=I will tell you that the AGS Steez rods are still in production. The 71MH we have on order won't be in until the end of June unfortunately. It's a spectacular rod and in my opinion a significant upgrade over the XT version which is a nice stick... I'm a huge fan of the Steez AGS series and ha...

Re: Gliss & Abrasion Resistance - adjusted expectations relative to other line diameter?

Ah, got it. Again, I really liked the way it performed casting and I never really had any break-offs, but fraying would made it catch the wind and wrap around the tip way too often.

Re: Gliss & Abrasion Resistance - adjusted expectations relative to other line diameter?

I really liked Gliss on my 15 Exist 1025, it casts just like everyone says and I didn't have any issues with abrasion resistance. My issue was the fraying, it was coming apart like yarn after a few full day outings.

Re: '19 Steez ct sv tw

Does anyone know if a 90mm basic Daiwa handle will work with the Steez CT SV??? I was mainly wondering about the lock plate that comes stock with the CT SV lining up with the hole in a handle like the Zillion TWS 90mm. Really enjoy the SV TW and CT SV TW style lock plate, just wondered if anyone ha...

Re: High end Jdm cranking rod help

If you can find one, a TDZ-103 Personal Order in white my look nice on that rod, Dom! That's a sweet rod, I'm looking for another crankbait stick myself and your photos of the White Falcon has piqued my interest!

Re: What’s your Finesse spinning rod?

I'm going to go against the grain here, my favorite is my Edge BW Gen1 6101. It's built on an HMX blank with Ti recoil guides, split carbon grip and super sensitive. I have a 2018 Daiwa Exist 2500 on it and it's a match made in heaven, I didn't always think that as I also previously had a 2015 Exist...

Agree with LMG, Hedgehog normally has the best selection of bling/jewelry for reels.

Re: Steez racing Design 7011HRB

I ordered mine from Japanlureshop. Even though the site may say out of stock for a particular rod you're interested in, I'd recommend sending an email with an inquiry. They were able to source 2 rods for me that were out of stock or no longer available.

Re: Lets see all them Daiwa's

Nice! I'm waiting on delivery of a Steez RD 701MH and 6101ML, also expecting a Heartland AGS 741MHRB in that same order. Can't wait!

Update: Oops, just realized this was a show and tell post, and all I did was tell.

Re: Tranx 300

I use a Tranx PG for throwing Huddleston, Deps and other medium sized trout swimbaits. I did add a few upgrades to it but I always seem to have issues loading photos here on TT. If you like the Tranx 300 but want something a little different, check out the Grappler 300, the JDM equivalent and a bit ...
