Re: Steez AGS casting rods

Most definitely! I've never Fished a Zbone, so I cant answer that :) That's outstanding to hear! 8-) Have you fished any of the x-fast Steez AGS casting sticks? I'm curious about your personal take on how fast they really are. I have the 7'1 XF (STZ711MHXB). Since its winter here I havent fished it...

Re: Steez AGS casting rods

I had the 7 ' hvy and really enjoyed that rod a lot. very well balanced feel to it. In my hands i felt like the nrx rods ive owned and current z bone rods are more sensitive but the steez is def no slouch at all. Loved mine for jigs. honestly the only real complaint or i guess i shouldnt say compla...

Re: '19 Steez ct sv tw

Japan Tackle has the Alphas and Steez models up for preorder. I've never preordered from them before, any bad experiences? Otherwise they've been great to work with but just wanted to make sure before taking the plunge. I see the 8.1 are still not available for preorder. I've always had A+ service ...

Re: Cold water/ cold front -fall / winter JERKBAIT

rsz_img_1903.jpg in your pic, what is the color of the bait just below the MG Secret Shadow? Gill is what it appears to be? some flavor of perch? https://www.thehookuptackle.com/fishing-Jerkbaits/Megabass/Ito+Vision+One+Ten+Junior It is called a Baby Gill-JP and the one I have is a JR (not sure if ...

Re: Calling Dobyns DX703C experts

I was wanting to ask the experts some details as to what is some of the "sweet spots" with this rod. Like what size spinnerbaits does this rod like? How heavy a bass jig with trailer does it like? How heavy a texas rig with a creature bait will this rod like? Thanks in advance It's been s...

Re: G Loomis Build Quality

I sent an email this afternoon to the President of Shimano USA and explained my frustration and pictures of the rods. I got an email an hour later from the Quality Control Manager that they would pay for the shipping to their factory and he would personally inspect the rod. =D> Great to hear! Well;...

Re: G Loomis Build Quality

I haven’t had a chance to fish the Cumulus rods. I doubt I buy another Shimano/G Loomis product after this debacle. I don't blame you in the slightest. The 7'1" Cumulus is one of my favorite sticks of ever...was just wondering how the sensitivity stacks up against the AGS sticks. Sorry for the...

Re: G Loomis Build Quality

Their QC team says the rod is within spec and that I could send it to them for further inspection. I hope everyone considers themselves warned that this is what they could end up with for $575. That's absurd. This is a one of the reasons why I am considering a Daiwa AGS casting rod over another NRX...

Re: Steez AGS casting rods

I know the spinning rods received high praise, anyone use the 7'1" MH or H casting rods? I'm definitely going to be following this thread. I was looking at that MH today, as I'm semi in the market for a new t-rig stick. I was also looking at the NRX 853, as the Steez compile X left me a little...
