Excellent input, thanks for sharing.
Which aftermarket spools are you running in the Silver Wolf? A Roro perhaps?

Re: New Zillion Rods
Was on them today with the 7 medlight spinning. Used for great lakes jerkbait fishing bomb casting a mile when windy. The flexlite is by far the best blank I've ever used for jerkbait fishing and very sensitive. Plentiful of 5 pounders and a toad of a 6 pounder. Now just got to get used to that lon...

Re: Kistler Rods Pricing
So, is Kistler's pricing tactic of always showing a massive price for a rod and then saying 'its what we would have sold them at had we sold to a big store but you get it at this way lower price" legit? ie have his rods ever actually been listed anywhere at the giant price? been looking into his ro...

I love the Blue Current III 82b, just that here in middle Tennessee, on these creeks and rivers, it's many times jungle warfare and very tight confines for casting. Lol.bulldog1935 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 11, 2024 6:37 pm@dragon1 Someone should be shore fishing that rod, it's a jewel - I can cast 2 g to 130' with mine.

Wow, fantastic stuff!
I actually have a Yamaga Blanks Blue Current III 82b listed on the Swap/Sell/Trade (gotta pay the Insidious Revenue Stealers).
Apologies for my shameless plug.

Re: Thoughts on high end bfs?
"BFS" gets hammered into everyone's squre hole. BFS is the reel, the combination of shallow, lightweight spool, low-inertia spool bearings, and threadline - it's a vehicle to fish threadline on baitcast tackle. While the reel mods go back to 1985 and small-frame Ambassadeur , the moniker Bait Fines...

Re: Millionaires Club
My turn. Millionaire Ringa SSS with a Roro MX30, Alphas pinion shaft, Millionaire CT magnet assembly, Roro bearings, drag clicker, and gear set from an Alphas Ito Ai. This is very light for a round reel at 6.4 oz. On the way is a SV Boost PE 1000 which will be better fishing the Detroit River for s...

Re: Any faster worm gears for the Millionaire?
It looks like I can get the SV105SH worm from Plat, thinking I'll go that route and grab a Millionaire CT spool tension cap as well. Maybe I'll grab the SV105SH gears as well, looks like I can get those too. Dang, WOW! The 7.2:1 makes the Millionaire so much more applicable for more techs than the ...

Re: Tuning Isuzu reel
Awesome pickup. There are considerable upgrades to the 441 in comparison to the 421, I'm sure you have read about them. I've got the 421 and have upgraded everything except the line guide. They sold out quickly and Try-Angle says they are not sure when they will make more. Best to set an email noti...
