Re: 50 mg7

Does Shimano still have Curado 51E brass gears in stock? This for the Chronarch 51mg. Thanks.

Re: Sustain vs Certate JDM (or other similar priced reels JDM)

Twinpower is better than Sustain; Certate and Twinpower I think will be mixed comments. Others will chime in I'm sure.

Really? Dang was hoping it was just a part of the blank/epoxy/guide's etc.

Checked them again and they are make noise when you rock them back and forth.

Have a good day.

New Loomis GLX rods creak when you shake them?

I have 4 new GLX rods and when I whip them up and down I hear creaking? Is this normal?

I feel I've heard this before; but I'm bored and look for annoying things like this....

Thanks.

This is the customer service type stuff I love!

Well done again Dan/Shimano.

Handle with a removal knob that fits a Symetre 500FJ?

Bantam - Do you know of a handle that will fit a Symetre 500FJ by chance? Don't like that big riveted knob on the stock 500 Symetre FJ handle.

Maybe import Nasci 500 or a 1000 size handle? Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. USDM 3601ZX IVCB4 it says. Think that is magnetic?

Re: Daiwa Lexa 300 CC

Maybe but I've never seen such lumpy uneven line lay. The line-counter model does it too; not sure why braid would need to be optimized on a 100 sized trout reel; but not arguing. I was bummed about it; as I am looking for a nice bait clicker 201/301 sized reel; and the Okuma and Daiwa Lexa are the ...

Re: Daiwa Lexa 300 CC

Has anyone reviewed these yet? cant find any info and only a few retailers are supplying which makes me a bit scared... Is that the bait clicker model? Bought 2 and hated them. Line lay is literally the worst I have ever seen. Line guide travels back and forth twice as fast as any reel I have ever ...

ABU Morrum 3601ZX avail spool number?

TT, Just scored a new Morrum 3601ZX from Amazon warehouse for $296. Said box was damaged and reel was new; I can't see how box or reel are not absolutely brand new. I'm pumped but want a shallow spool; but there are so many different models out there. Does anyone know what item number/spool I need? ...

Re: Tatula LT 2500D vs. 4000

The new Zaion is much stiffer than the CI4+ Curious, how did you determine that? Should have said imho. Pretty clear to me though by mounting on a rod and grabbing rear of reel and twisting back and forth. Less flex to my eyes/hands; but of course not as stiff as metal. Basically I was impressed by...
