Re: Steez Racing Design RIP?
This is EXACTLY why i buy Whoppers with out cheese. [/quote] man I hear ya. i can definitely echo your sentiment on things not being aligned and perfect. I had a big mac the other day and the cheese was not perfectly placed on top of the patty...garbage. The bun wasn't centered...garbage. Some of th...

Re: Steez Racing Design RIP?
Crap Alignment. Both rods the first 4 eyes where off to the left. And the top guide off to the right. Ridiculous at any price point.

Re: Steez Racing Design RIP?
Do people know what the definition of ignorant or do they just toss it around because they are ignorant of its meaning. I own $140 rods so I have first had knowledge knowing what I'm saying. The Guide alignment on a 500 Steez was crap so I had to send it back, the guide alignment on my $140 rod was ...

Re: Steez Racing Design RIP?
How is guide alignment for $700? You guys are nuts, a cheap one costs $685 before shipping with no US warranty ... If they where offered and supported under US warranty I'd think about getting one. I just picked up a Steez Universal light the guides where off. I get a replacement and this one a litt...

As long as the resins last and you don't damage the blank, My fathers 40 year old fiberglass rod is still fishable, The guides will fall off first.

Re: Gloomis GLX or IMX-Pro for Jerk Baits
Its interesting that the 842 GLX is so well liked they don't mention jerk baits at all in the description.

Re: Gloomis GLX or IMX-Pro for Jerk Baits
I do prefer GLX for the guides and think used prices are decent value. Not a bargain but decent. I was hoping to see a dedicated Jerkbait rod similar to the IMX-Pro 812C JBR. Loomis seems to have a few gaps in the GLX line or at least they don't advertise Jerkbait versatility in the descriptions. I ...

Thanks for the feed back, Add yet another rod to wish list. I do wish Loomis offered an MBRs in the 6'8"-6'10" range.

Re: GLX 802C JWR 1/8oz? BFS?
Thank you for the reply, Yes I'm trying to hunt down a true BFS bass rod. I was hoping I could find a loomis to do the job bt it looks like I need to wait for them to catch up with new Technics. Looks like Daiwa has a new Blazon I may want to get my hands on. The 802 is a medium powered rod, does ok...

Re: Favorite type of topwater bait?
Basic old Rebel in white or Black/Silver does the job. I am eagerly waiting for smaller version of the yozuri hardcore popper to come out.
